Hi all, Smuve here. After sitting in my garage for 14 years, I finally started working on my X1. Bought the bike in 2008, fixed a bunch of broken bits and took it for a ride. Got stuck in 3rd gear during the first ride. Pulled the tranny in 2010. Recently replaced all three shift forks, split ring bearings, and retaining rings. Got the transmission installed. I'm currently stuck on the engine sprocket shaft seal because I installed a new seal without the spacer, then installed the spacer and badly distorted the lips of the seal. Now the spacer is so tight against the seal I can't get it out. Waiting for KV to come up in the new site. BTW, thanks to all who are working on the new site!
